NAFS again? Why should my company attend a FenCon18 NAFS session?

Two one-hour sessions are designed quite simply to provide excellent education on the North American Fenestration Standards (NAFS)regulations and provide your company with some better ideas, steps, processes – of how to get on side with less headache and confusion and cost. And you get an opportunity to at least indirectly, help improve the regulations by giving committee members input – not just dance to their rules! There will be approachable, experienced people on hand to talk to in plain English about how make the process more profitable! Read More »

FenCon Returns to Winnipeg

February 8th, 2018 by DWM Magazine

Fenestration Manitoba will present FenCon18 February 28-March 2 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Last year’s first-ever FenCon drew about 150 people, and event chair Al Dueck of Duxton Windows and Doors says this year’s gathering could be bigger.

“Last year, we had a very solid turnout from literally coast to coast in Canada plus a mix of U.S. attendees, sponsors and presenters,” he said. “The feedback of ‘satisfaction’ from both attendees and sponsors was 90 percent  good or very good, and 90 percent  said they plan to come back.”

The event, which is organized by Fenestration Manitoba, will feature two days of educational sessions covering topics such as automation, energy efficiency, the recently updated North American Fenestration Standard (NAFS), coatings, social media and more. There will also be tabletop exhibitors and social events.

“We are very pleased to note that the pre-registration to the event has even exceeded the kick-off level for 2017,” says Nancy Zubriski, executive director of Fenestration Manitoba. “We highlighted FenCon18 at WinDoor and found a real sound interest as there is now a much broader awareness of this manufacturing-focused conference.”
